Seeking counseling services may feel scary or uncomfortable. Past experiences, stigma surrounding mental health, fears of being judged, or simply feeling nervous about sharing your thoughts with a stranger are all real concerns to have as you begin your mental health journey. I ask you, though, to give counseling a chance.
Whether you’re wanting to navigate life’s challenges, build strong relationships, explore your identity, improve self-esteem, overcome burnout, or address other mental health concerns, I truly believe that anyone, at any age, can benefit from counseling. I would be honored to take this journey with you!
Counseling is not a “one-theory-fits-all” experience. I use an eclectic approach with roots in cognitive-behavioral (CBT), dialectical-behavioral (DBT), mindfulness, strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed approaches. Incorporating various methods allows me to adapt my techniques to best support my diverse clients. You know your life better than anyone, so your wants, goals, and feedback are integral to developing a strong, collaborative, therapeutic relationship.
Through compassion and empathy, I aim to help you untangle your thoughts, be curious, and explore new possibilities. I view counseling as a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters open, healthy communication and enlightenment. I look forward to working together to accomplish your mental health goals!
