Hello! I am Gabriela Rangel, currently serving as a Practicum student here at Bridges to Crossroads Counseling. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

In addition to my academic pursuits, over the past two years, I have dedicated my professional efforts to serving as a Behavioral Therapist for children diagnosed with Autism. Through specialized expertise such as Play Therapy, I have focused on fostering their development and well-being. I have also utilized other therapeutic modalities such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to tailor interventions to each child's unique needs.

My experience in implementing these therapeutic modalities has underscored the importance of individualized treatment approaches in promoting positive outcomes for clients. I am passionate about integrating evidence-based practices into my work and continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth to better serve those in need. Additionally, I have a particular interest in working with the younger population of ages 2- 16, as I find immense fulfillment in supporting children during their formative years.
