Tamana Singh B.A., RBT

Dari/Parisian, Hindi/Urdu, Punjabi, Pashtoo speaker

Therapist

My name is Tamana, and I am a third year Practicum student in the Clinical Mental Heath Counseling program at The Chicago School. I bring a strong foundation in advocacy, education, and behavioral health, with a deep commitment to supporting individuals from diverse and underserved backgrounds. Thought-out my career, I have worked in various roles, including as a classroom teacher, a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting children on the autism spectrum, and as a advocate for women and children facing social and systemic challenges. These experiences have enriched my understanding of trauma, cultural identity, and the importance of empowering individuals through compassionate, culturally responsive care.

Growing up in a diverse community and working across multiple service settings has equipped me with the empathy, adaptability, and communication skills essential in the counseling profession. I am passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported on their healing journey.
