CEO & Director
Bridges to Crossroads Counseling & Intensive Outpatient Care

Imagine waking up every morning feeling like you can take on the world. How great does that feel? In 2001, I made the decision to help others through difficult times and allow for them to open up about what is really going on in their everyday lives.

Life can get difficult, and sometimes a little help from a professional Mental Health Service Provider can make things better. I care about your well-being and provide you all the tools you need in order to seize the day and learn how to tackle even the most traumatic circumstances.

Counseling is a collaborative process in which we will work together to identify and attempt to resolve any issues you bring to our sessions. It is my goal to provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment in which you will be given time and space to understand and gain insight into your situation. I believe that all people have the potential for good, and that, with assistance, people have the capacity to resolve their own problems. Therefore, part of my role as your counselor will be to help you identify strengths you have within yourself, deepen your self-awareness, and to aid you in further developing skills/tools that will promote your continued growth and development. The counseling process allows clients to feel that they are able to independently face life’s future challenges. I am passionate, driven, and believe that, together, we can make a difference in your life!

By reaching Bridges to Crossroads Counseling, you have already taken the first step towards your transformative process. This, along with collaboration between you and I is what counseling consists of. I believe together we can work to identify and resolve any concerns that are causing any discomfort in your life in a safe, free, and non-judgmental space. The objective is to provide “you time”, gain knowledge, and develop patience to understand the dynamics of your situation.
My belief is that everyone is worthy of help, especially when they are struggling. You must be willing to put in the work to accomplish the result and part of my role as a counselor is to assist you in that work process. During that time, we will identify your strengths, develop and expand your coping skills, as well as continue to gain further psycho-educational knowledge that will guide you in your continued growth. The development towards a deeper healthier mental head space will allow you to conquer future obstacles you may endure.
So, let us take this next step together! You have already ventured to the Bridges to Crossroads Counseling website, now all you have to do is pick up the phone and book your appointment!

Noelle F.jpeg

Noelle Fernandez, Master of Science in Counseling Education with a focus in Play Therapy ,
Supervised by Christia Rogers, Med, LPC-S, NCC

Noelle is passionate about helping children, teens and adults be the best versions of themselves. She believes that all people have an innate tendency toward growth. However, growth can be impacted by life events we may not have control over. This may lead to untrue and/or unhealthy thought patterns. Noelle will work together with you to target these unhelpful thoughts and beliefs and replace them with more accurate versions. Since our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions are all connected, impacting one area will impact them all!

However, for children, it is hard for them to translate their thoughts and feelings verbally. Children can better express their thoughts and feelings in their natural language – PLAY, using toys as their words. Often, “bad behavior” is just a child’s way of telling us they have an unmet need or don't have enough coping skills. Noelle’s goal is to interpret the child's play to parents and work as team with parents to provide better tools and skills to help their children and family.
